O2Micro's Card Detection technology allows a user-friendly, real plug-n-play environment for popular flash media cards working with the PCMCIA card slot. This patented card detection technology is implemented in O2Micro's 4-in-1 MemoryCardBus(TM) (OZ711M series) family of CardBus Controllers. It enables advanced CardBus controllers to automatically detect and communicate with popular flash media cards (SD Memory Card, Memory Stick(TM), MultiMediaCard (MMC) and SmartMedia(TM)), in addition to 16- and 32-bit PC Cards.
