Analysis of life expectancies of lives assured

The Directors of the Fund wish to announce that the Fund has recently started undertaking its triennial analysis of the life expectancy of the lives assured by the policies held by the Fund. 

The results of this analysis are expected to show that the average life expectancy of the lives assured has increased. Once the analysis is complete the Fund’s valuation model will be adjusted to reflect the revised life expectancies provided by two independent underwriters.

The Board expects the life expectancies to be extended leading to a reduction in NAV for the shareclasses. However it is too early to state what level of adjustment will be necessary.
